It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and powertrain and roadside assistance is covered for five years or 60,000 miles. The hybrid powertrain components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles. The hybrid comes with a long list of safety features as well. Some of them include; dual-front airbags, front seat side airbags, first and second row side curtain airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control. The Fusion Hybrid is also equipped with a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine and an electric motor. They create together 191 horsepower. It also comes with a 275-volt hybrid battery. The hybrid is estimated to get 41/36 mpg. city/highway.

There are two main features that Ford has installed into the Fusion Hybrid that reviewers really like. The first feature is the SmartGauge with Ecoguide. This system consists of two display screens on either side of a traditional speedometer. The driver can choose from one of four levels; Inform, Enlighten, Engage, and Empower. Each setting lets you know information about fuel economy and trip data. On the other side is a screen that will grow leaves as you drive more efficiently. The other feature is the Ford’s Sync system. This system allows the driver to control Bluetooth enabled devices such as cell phones or MP3 players using voice commands.
